Buy Direct The BHT50 is a specialist tool designed specifically for the removal of heavy brake drums on HGV vehicles. At over 40kg, brake drums can present a serious injury risk to mechanics. Vulnerable areas of the body include feet, hands and especially the back. Health and Safety recommendations are for weights no greater than 10-20 kg. As well as being adjustable for height the trolley also has a tilt facility which allows accurate positioning. Once the hub has been remove it can be safely placed on the floor by up-ending the trolley and releasing the securing chain (see picture above). This equipment will make the whole procedure of brake drum removal and replacement safer, faster and more cost effective. The hub tilt plate has an adjustable height ranging from 250mm to 400mm.
